Ingredients
  

  • 1 pineapple peels washed well
  • ½ an orange
  • ½ lemon
  • 1 finger of turmeric root
  • 6 individual pieces of Cylon cinnamon bark
  • 4 whole Clove
  • Thin slices of ginger to taste
  • 1 Liter Water
  • Honey or maple syrup to sweeten according to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preparing the pineapple: rinse the pineapple thoroughly from the outside, peel it and cut the skins into medium pieces.
  • Preparation of the other ingredients: cut the orange, lemon and ginger into thin slices. and prepare all the spices and peels for cooking.
  • Boiling: Put all the ingredients in a large pot and add a liter of water. Bring to a boil over high heat.
  • Simmer: Once the water has boiled, lower the heat and let the mixture simmer gently over low heat for about 25 minutes.
  • Rest: at the end of the 25 minutes, turn off the heat and let the mixture rest for 10 minutes with the pot lid closed.
