- 1 Wooden Spoon Salad Mixing
- 1 Table Spoon Sauce making
Ingredients
- 1 wedge watermelon large wedge, cut into cubes
- 1 chili pepper finely chopped
- ยฝ bunch bunch cilantro coarsely chopped
- ยฝ bunch bunch parsley coarsely chopped
- 1 Green onion thinly sliced
- ยฝ cup mint leaves โ separated from the stem, chopped
- ยฝ cup basil leaves โ coarsely chopped
Cashew nuts sautรฉed in a skillet with:
- ยฝ cup cashew nuts raw
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp teriyaki sauce
For the dressing:
- 1 tbsp tamarind sauce
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
Instructions
- Chop into a large bowl the chili, cilantro, parsley, scallions, mint, and basil
- Add the watermelon cubes
- Sautรฉ the cashew nuts with soy and teriyaki until lightly golden, let cool.
- In a small bowl, mix the three sauces โ tamarind, fish, and hoisin.
- Pour the dressing over the salad, add the cashews, and mix gently.
- Serve immediately, while the flavors are still fresh.
